I specialise in working with children and young people between the ages of 3 and 21, but I also welcome adults and couples to my practice. No matter what you might be experiencing, from self-esteem to serious trauma, I am here to be your friendly professional guide as you work through your challenges in a way that makes sense to you.

Every young person needs a place where they can feel heard and understood. There are so many issues that people face between the ages of 3 and 21, but they often can’t talk about them to friends or family. I work in a way that caters to each young person’s individuality, finding out what makes them tick. This might be talking therapy, but might also include creative interventions, such as sand tray work or role play, or possibly a combination of approaches.
Please see my Child and Teenager Counselling page for more details on how I work with young people.
Other Issues I Work With
Along with being an advanced specialist in issues faced by young people, I have years of experience in helping adults of various ages and backgrounds work towards being in a better place.
We can cover all kinds of complex issues, including but not limited to:
Depression
Anxiety and Stress
Grief and Loss
Parents dealing with neurodiversity
Work issues
Relationships
You can find more information on how I help with these issues by jumping over to my Adult Counselling page.
Clinical Supervision coming summer 2025…
I know that reaching out for support can feel a bit daunting, which is why you are always welcome to speak to me on the phone before choosing whether you’d like to proceed. Most children, however, prefer to go straight into a session, but it is important they know that they are never tied into anything. You are free to have one session and then have some time to decide if you’d like to continue. There is no pressure at all.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost between £65 and £80, depending on the complexity of the work we do together.
Couples counselling is £120 per session.
If you are struggling financially, I have a limited number of reduced fee spots to cater for families on a low income. Please get in touch for more information.
I work from a beautiful old building in the centre of Hereford, with the river running right past us and our room overlooking the cathedral. It is a peaceful, truly private space where you can feel at ease and speak openly about what’s troubling you. Sadly, there is no disabled access, so if this is an issue, I can come and visit you at your home, or speak with you online over Zoom. Get in touch with me to find out more about this.
Online
Online sessions are also available for adults and children over 13 yrs.
You don’t have to face your problems on your own. Help is always out there; my practice is a completely confidential safe space for you to explore any kind of issue at your own pace.
If you’d like to arrange an initial session of counselling in Hereford, or just have some questions, please do give me a call on 07377720702 at any time or fill in the enquiry form below.
